Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sport career when she was 14 years old. Aspen Laddd started training in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling prior to her amateur debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd continued to build on her victory during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She defeated all her opponents during the opening round. After that Ladd went on to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and prevailed over her with a unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, increasing her record to 8-1. Aspen has signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to get her first professional fight. Invicta 11, she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal to score one of the fight's TKOs in the initial round. Invicta 16 saw her rise to the weight class of Bantamweight following her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen defeated McGill in her wrestling, and finished her off in the third round via TKO. Aspen later faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy using an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) as Ladd had not made an appearance at the weigh-in. Aspen still dominated Hoy and eventually knocked her down with a KO. In her last bout for the promotion, she beat Sijara Ebanks with a unanimous win in Invicta FC 21. Her UFC debut took place during UFC Fight Night 118 at which point she fought Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a ground-and-pound strategy to prevail by TKO during the second round. Then, in her third fight she defeated Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd won over Evinger within the first minute and received a bonus to commemorate her performance of the night. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Avs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd beating her opponent by a unanimous vote and both fighters getting their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in 16 seconds and ended her losing streak. She bounced back, and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC on ESPN 7. For a rematch, she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her loss was an unanimous decision.
